Lunch Date Take 2

Well it feels like dejavu today. Yesterday as I told you all I was looking forward to going to meet a friend and my daughter for lunch. I got all dressed up hair and make up done in my normal 1950`s style, locked up and headed to the car. I got in and proceeded to start it. It would not turn over, I tried again and again and again.... I phoned Lord Huntingdon who said he never has trouble starting it - it being the work Ute!!

As time ticked away I phoned my friend to let her know I would be late as I was having car troubles. Lord Huntingdon phoned back after I had hung up from my friend and said that it may be the key as we had got another cut but it was not he one with the plastic part at the end which has the chip. He had tried it when it was first cut and his normal key may have been too close which allowed the car to start.

With that I knew I was going nowhere in a hurry!! Disappointed I phoned my friend to tell her what had happened and we rescheduled our lunch until today, I went inside and changed into my daggy old farm clothes complete with 1950`s hair and make up I was sure to impress my loved animals!!

So here I am today showered, dressed and about to do my hair and makeup - you guessed it 1950`s style and to try all over again only today I have the normal key with the chip inside. I guess I learnt that the work Ute has an immobiliser which is a good thing!! Today after lunch I am popping into see my gorgeous daughter and granddaughter. Here is a sweet photo of my Little Princess Charlotte that I wanted to share with you all.

Looking forward...

Today is a brand new day, it is starting to warm up and the days are getting longer, so much to look forward to. Today I am meeting Maddie`s boyfriend`s Mum for lunch and Maddie has decided to join us as she now has her licence and has a free this afternoon at school she can drive herself to meet up with us. It should be a nice meeting with us girls only. I will pop some pictures up later so you can see what we were up too. I am super organised today, the list helps and its great to cross off the items which have been done. Maddie and her boyfriend Stevie are flying off on Friday to see the Pink concert followed by a stopover on the way home as Stevie was lucky enough to win a competition where they get to meet a T.V celebrity and a nights accommodation's in a luxurious hotel. Oh to be you again!!! If I can get some photos off them I am be able to coax them into letting me post them so you can see what they got up to over their weekend away. I am not sure what to wear yet or how to do my hair but you will see later when I pop the photo`s up. It will obviously be an inspired 1950`s look as that is how I dress as you all know. Please feel free to offer suggestions on hairstyles for me to try or a dress you may have seen somewhere, I would love to hear from you!! I have some photos to show you of when my gorgeous daughter and her school friends swam in the 24hr M.S Swimathon. I was so very proud of them!!!! And a special thank you to the 4 of them my daughter included who stayed the night to pull their team through, what an amazing effort!!!!!

My gorgeous daughter is the blonde on the right.

To thank all these gorgeous girls I had some cupcakes made for them, which they all enjoyed!!

Learning to FOCUS

Good Morning Everyone, I need to learn how to focus on one project at a time. I am so overwhelmed that I find myself sitting and staring into space for hours on end!! Does anyone else feel this way? I find that with the M.S if I don`t give myself numerous tasks I find myself dwelling on how this disease MIGHT affect my life in the weeks, months and years to come! So now I have another problem on how do I manage to juggle all the projects that are important to me such as this blog, my new website, our business, my family time, building a house, looking after my animals, cooking and cleaning the list does go on and on and on ...... I have decided to try to dice up my day. This will not always work as I need to take things day by day. I an tired of making plans with friends and family days ahead only to find on the day we had planned to do something I feel terrible and have to cancell. So now I have learnt to be honest and try to explain that as long as I am feeling up to it on the day I would be more than happy to join in. Does anyone have any good ideas on what they do to juggle their day? I would love to hear from you if you do:) As far as the 1950`s challenge, I am still doing it, I love it so much that is now my way of life. Obviously I don`t wear my pretty dresses around home doing the animals ect..!! Have I mentioned that we now have piglets, they are so very cute. There are 8 in total 7 girls and 1 little boy!! They are 2 weeks old ang growing fast, their Mum is doing a fantastic job, I was there for every one except the first when they were born. It was so amazing to watch and see their Mum being so very gentle. Apparently I was putting the hay where she didin`t want it for them as I was making a nice comfortable bed for them she was busy moving it so there was hole in the middle and the sides where high around them, I guess MUM knows best!!! So I am hoping that this blog of ours will continue and improve as I get myself into order to try to write something every day for you all. I love the fact that some of you write comments, it makes me feel like there is someone out there listening and who is interested in what I think is a boring life. I don`t have photos on the computer of the piglets but I will get them up as soon as I can. I am now off to focus some time on my website, I need to add the products so you can all see it growing. It is time consuming but I will get there and your patience is appreciated. Thank you to all of you who have continued to support me. Chat soon Mel xx
