Well it feels like dejavu today. Yesterday as I told you all I was looking forward to going to meet a friend and my daughter for lunch. I got all dressed up hair and make up done in my normal 1950`s style, locked up and headed to the car. I got in and proceeded to start it. It would not turn over, I tried again and again and again.... I phoned Lord Huntingdon who said he never has trouble starting it - it being the work Ute!!
As time ticked away I phoned my friend to let her know I would be late as I was having car troubles. Lord Huntingdon phoned back after I had hung up from my friend and said that it may be the key as we had got another cut but it was not he one with the plastic part at the end which has the chip. He had tried it when it was first cut and his normal key may have been too close which allowed the car to start.
With that I knew I was going nowhere in a hurry!! Disappointed I phoned my friend to tell her what had happened and we rescheduled our lunch until today, I went inside and changed into my daggy old farm clothes complete with 1950`s hair and make up I was sure to impress my loved animals!!
So here I am today showered, dressed and about to do my hair and makeup - you guessed it 1950`s style and to try all over again only today I have the normal key with the chip inside. I guess I learnt that the work Ute has an immobiliser which is a good thing!! Today after lunch I am popping into see my gorgeous daughter and granddaughter. Here is a sweet photo of my Little Princess Charlotte that I wanted to share with you all.

Looking forward...
Today is a brand new day, it is starting to warm up and the days are getting longer, so much to look forward to. Today I am meeting Maddie`s boyfriend`s Mum for lunch and Maddie has decided to join us as she now has her licence and has a free this afternoon at school she can drive herself to meet up with us. It should be a nice meeting with us girls only. I will pop some pictures up later so you can see what we were up too. I am super organised today, the list helps and its great to cross off the items which have been done. Maddie and her boyfriend Stevie are flying off on Friday to see the Pink concert followed by a stopover on the way home as Stevie was lucky enough to win a competition where they get to meet a T.V celebrity and a nights accommodation's in a luxurious hotel. Oh to be you again!!! If I can get some photos off them I am be able to coax them into letting me post them so you can see what they got up to over their weekend away. I am not sure what to wear yet or how to do my hair but you will see later when I pop the photo`s up. It will obviously be an inspired 1950`s look as that is how I dress as you all know. Please feel free to offer suggestions on hairstyles for me to try or a dress you may have seen somewhere, I would love to hear from you!! I have some photos to show you of when my gorgeous daughter and her school friends swam in the 24hr M.S Swimathon. I was so very proud of them!!!! And a special thank you to the 4 of them my daughter included who stayed the night to pull their team through, what an amazing effort!!!!!

Learning to FOCUS
Good Morning Everyone,
I need to learn how to focus on one project at a time. I am so overwhelmed that I find myself sitting and staring into space for hours on end!!
Does anyone else feel this way?
I find that with the M.S if I don`t give myself numerous tasks I find myself dwelling on how this disease MIGHT affect my life in the weeks, months and years to come!
So now I have another problem on how do I manage to juggle all the projects that are important to me such as this blog, my new website, our business, my family time, building a house, looking after my animals, cooking and cleaning the list does go on and on and on ......
I have decided to try to dice up my day. This will not always work as I need to take things day by day.
I an tired of making plans with friends and family days ahead only to find on the day we had planned to do something I feel terrible and have to cancell. So now I have learnt to be honest and try to explain that as long as I am feeling up to it on the day I would be more than happy to join in.
Does anyone have any good ideas on what they do to juggle their day? I would love to hear from you if you do:)
As far as the 1950`s challenge, I am still doing it, I love it so much that is now my way of life. Obviously I don`t wear my pretty dresses around home doing the animals ect..!!
Have I mentioned that we now have piglets, they are so very cute. There are 8 in total 7 girls and 1 little boy!! They are 2 weeks old ang growing fast, their Mum is doing a fantastic job, I was there for every one except the first when they were born. It was so amazing to watch and see their Mum being so very gentle. Apparently I was putting the hay where she didin`t want it for them as I was making a nice comfortable bed for them she was busy moving it so there was hole in the middle and the sides where high around them, I guess MUM knows best!!!
So I am hoping that this blog of ours will continue and improve as I get myself into order to try to write something every day for you all. I love the fact that some of you write comments, it makes me feel like there is someone out there listening and who is interested in what I think is a boring life.
I don`t have photos on the computer of the piglets but I will get them up as soon as I can.
I am now off to focus some time on my website, I need to add the products so you can all see it growing. It is time consuming but I will get there and your patience is appreciated.
Thank you to all of you who have continued to support me.

½ cup pure soap flakes • 1 cup chalk or diatomaceous earth • 1 cup baking soda • 1 teaspoon essential oil of eucalyptus (available at health-food or aromatherapy stores)
1. In a small bowl crush the soap flakes with the back of a spoon until powdered (or whirl them in a blender). Mix in the chalk or diatomaceous earth and the baking soda, braking up any lumps.
2. Sprinkle the essential oil over the surface of the powdered mixture and stir in with the spoon. Continue stirring for several minutes to disperse the oil throughout the mixture, then spoon the mixture into a screw-top jar or can that has had small holes punched in the lid.
3. Cover the holes in the lid with masking tape to keep the powder dry while it is stored. Let the mixture sit for a week before using so that the essential oil is thoroughly dispersed.Drain Cleanser
Slow drains? Use this drain cleanser once a week to keep drains fresh and clog-free. •½ cup baking soda
• 1 cup white vinegar
• 1 gallon hot water
Pour baking soda down the drain, then vinegar. Allow the mixture to foam for several minutes before flushing the drain with hot water.
Disposal Cleanser
Keep your garbage disposal smelling fresh with this useful tip. • half of a used lemon
Drop the lemon into the disposal and run the motor until the lemon is pulverized and washed down the drain.
Dishwashing Liquid
You don’t need expensive detergents to get dishes clean. Used with hot water, this liquid gel cleans dishes beautifully without creating unnecessary suds. Do not use in dishwashers. •¼ cup soap flakes
• 2 cups hot water
• ¼ cup glycerin
• ½ teaspoon lemon essential oil (available at health-food or aromatherapy stores)
1. In a bowl, combine the soap flakes and the water and stir until the flakes have dissolved. Cool to lukewarm.
2. Stir in the glycerin and the essential oil and leave to cool. As the mixture cools, it forms a loose gel. Stir with a fork to break up the gel and, using a funnel, pour into a narrow-necked plastic bottle. (An old shampoo bottle makes an excellent storage container.)
3. To use, squirt two to three teaspoonfuls under running water into the sink.
Chrome Polish
All you need to make your automobile’s chrome shine is a handful of aluminum foil and a little elbow grease. • aluminum foil To remove rust from chrome bumpers, simply wad up a piece of aluminum foil and rub it over the spot vigorously.
Car WashThis soap is gentle to the car but tough on grime.
1 tablespoon vegetable oil-based liquid soap (available at health-food stores) • 2 gallons warm water
1. Combine soap and water in a large pail.
2. Cleaning one section at a time, apply the solution with a large sponge, concentrating on heavily soiled areas. Rinse immediately before moving to a new section.
3. To avoid spotting, dry the car with a chamois or soft flannel cloth.
Car-Interior CleanserThis solution is great for cleaning vinyl and leather upholstery. For cloth interiors, try the homemade upholstery shampoo. •
2 tablespoons vegetable oil-based liquid soap • ¼ cup olive oil • 1 teaspoon lemon essential oil (available at health-food or aromatherapy stores)
Mix the ingredients well and apply with a sponge. Wipe the windows dry with absorbent towels or a soft flannel cloth.
Automatic Dishwasher Soap
If you live in a hard-water area, add the spotless dishwasher rinse (below to the machine before washing. •
2 cups borax • 2 cups washing soda Mix the borax and washing soda and store in a closed plastic container.
To use, add 2 tablespoons to the dishwasher soap compartment.All-Purpose Cleansing PasteThis paste is effective for most household cleaning chores and contains no harsh abrasives to harm surfaces. The paste resembles a gray putty, except that it is slightly softer and has a bubbled surface. The chalk or diatomaceous earth provides a fine sheen without scratching. You can find diatomaceous earth in garden, pool and hardware stores. Use store-bought brands of pure soap flakes, such as Ivory, or make your own by grating a bar of pure soap. •½ cup pure soap flakes
• 1 cup chalk or diatomaceous earth
• ½ cup baking soda
• 3 tablespoons glycerin
1. In a small bowl, crush the soap flakes into a powder with the back of a spoon (or whirl them in a blender if you wish). Thoroughly mix in the chalk or diatomaceous earth and the baking soda.
2. Stir in enough of the glycerin to form a thick paste. Spoon the mixture into a wide mouthed screw-top jar or other container.
3. Keep the paste covered when not in use, to prevent it from drying out.
All-Natural Car WaxCommercial automotive waxes often contain petrochemicals. Try this natural alternative. Please note that turpentine is flammable and can be toxic if swallowed. Store away from heat sources and out of the reach of children.
7 tablespoons yellow beeswax • 12 tablespoons carnauba wax
• 2 cups mineral oil
• 4 tablespoons turpentine
• 1 tablespoon pine oil
1. Using a double boiler, melt the waxes together.
2. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly before stirring in the turpentine and the oils.
3. Pour into metal cans that have secure lids (old coffee cans with plastic lids work well). Cool, uncovered, to room temperature. When cool, close the cans securely.
4. To use, scoop a small amount of wax onto a soft cloth or rag. Using a circular motion, rub the wax into the car’s finish. Allow to sit for several minutes before buffing to a showroom shine. Variation Don’t throw those old cotton socks away! Save to use as a perfect waxing and buffing cloths – then discard.
Air-Freshener SprayThis spray is strong and needs to be applied judiciously. You want a room to have a hint of this spicy scent, not an overpowering perfume. You’ll find these essential oils at health-food or aromatherapy stores. •1/4 cup isopropyl alcohol
• 25 drops bergamot essential oil
• 8 drops clove essential oil
• 5 drops lemon essential oil
• 1 cup distilled water
1. In a spray bottle, combine the alcohol and the essential oils and shake well to disperse the oils. Add the distilled water and shake for a minute or two more to thoroughly blend all the ingredients.
2. Let sit for at least a few days before using, to allow the fragrance to mature. A quick spritz is usually all that is needed to freshen a room.

Well it has been hectic here and to make matters worse I have not been able to keep in contact with you all!!
If you had a chance to read my last blog as poor as it was you will understand!!
We have had a Christening of my gorgeous Great Niece Amelia and her beautiful Mum Jade.
There has been numerous 18th Birthday Parties which I have been taxi to.
All my daughters friends like her are turning 18 this year so most Friday and Saturday nights are party nights for them!!
Numerous Doctors visits for me. I am sure I am keeping my Dr and the Chemist in business!!!
Our house is now OUT OF THE GROUND, which means the posts are in the ground.
We are soooo excited!!!!!!! We can now see the shape of the house and where it is sitting minus the veranda at the moment.
Lord Hunting has been so very busy working at work and working on our house. I am so very PROUD of him he is such a wonderful Husband, father and provider. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him when it comes to us - although I sometimes hear him murmur under his breath. (LOL)
Taking a short break as this man of mine is never still for long!!
Father and Daughter worked so well and so hard all day long today!!
We have had the pleasure of Maddie`s boyfriend Stevie joining us over the last few weekends. He is a lovely young man - we have joked that we are going to marry her off now as he`s a keeper!!
See we even have Stevie working with Maddie!
My Wonderful Son in Law Ben has his birthday and we had a lovely BBQ and their house which was delicious.
My gorgeous Granddaughter Charlotte has started walking, now her Mum and Dad need to be careful where they walk as she is so tiny tottering around.
My Gorgeous Daughter took my Gorgeous Granddaughter on a Mummy Daughter lunch date to the Botanical Gardens. Sooo very sweet xxxx
I meet my Beautiful Great Niece Mia who is 7 weeks old for the first time.
This is a photo with my wonderful and gorgeous Auntie Tup, Mia and myself.

Sprung little Miss Ruby, I was wondering who was leaving muddy paw prints on the seat!!
I think her excuse was that she was helping Granddad build the house as the marking paint is on the ground!!

Stupid Computers!!!
First I would like to let you all know that I have had nothing but trouble with my blog. I have wanted to throw the computer out the window on many occasions!!
I have been able to write the title of the post but that has been all, I was on the verge of buying a new computer as I thought this one must be dying on me!!
I spoke to my daughter about it today as she went through a few things with me tonight trying to fix the problem as she said she was able to write on it her end and even offered for me to email what I wanted to say to her as she would copy and past it for me into the blog. Amongst other things she said now where you see the A is it in black, my response was no it`s not highlighted. BINGO she hit the nail on the head I had been tryping with no color!!!! WHAT AN IDIOT I felt like and after we all had a few good laughs here I am trying to type again and when she got off the phone and it happened again, nothing was typing!!!
This time Lord Huntington tried and he got as far as I did, nothing!!! Miss Maddie said let me try and BINGO she had it working again so I have jumped on to let you all know why I have not been able to post before it stops again as it still keeps telling me an error has occured. It keeps flashing at me now so sorry no proof reading or spell check just a hurried post to inform you all of my computer drama. I have soooo much to tell you all but it will have to wait and we will try again tomorrow. Chat soon xx

A Baby Is born !!
When she came in she said that millie one of our goats was not her normal self.
it was freezing cold and snowing so I said it may be due to the weather or we may have a baby today.
We brought her a few months ago now and was told that she was pregnant but her due date came and went so we thought that she may not have fallen pregnant and we would have to wait until next year to try again.
All our other animals were behaving normal so I had it in the back of my mind that we may just have a baby on the way.
About 30 minutes later I heard a very high pitched bleat!!
I went out to check as fast as my legs would carry me, and it my delight I saw a very little baby goat bleating at it`s mum!!
I called out to lord Huntingdon who was not far from where I was and he came running calling out to Maddie along the way that we have a baby!!
The poor little thing was out in the middle of the snow, wet and cold and telling mum off!!
They do have an insulated warm and dry room in their pen but no Millie thought it was a good idea to have her out in the snow for some strang and silly reason.

1950`s House wife Challenge - Fall from grace!!!
Well I have to be honest, the last few days I have gone a little crazy with NOT doing the work of a 1950`s house wife to perfection!!
We all new this time would come and I would fall from grace!!
It`s really not my fault!! As I see it I wanted to spend more time with Lord Huntingdon when he is at home as he has been so busy and working no less than 15 days straight from dark to dark.
I miss him terribly when he is not here as we do everything together and always have!!
So when it came to doing at our jobs for the up coming weeks I went with him, when he went to look at our new boat I went with him.
However that being said I have not washed, cleaned or even baked as I was going to do today, I put it all off to spend time with my ONE TRUE LOVE!!
Yesterday he said he wanted to have Eggs Benedict for Sunday breakfast so on the way home I popped into Coles and brought the bacon and the turkish bread to have with breakfast.
We woke late and there had been no washing up done from the night before as I spent the night watching a movie with Lord Huntingdon and before I knew it, it was time to head to bed.
Now I will say here that my pet hate is getting up to dirty dishes and as we are building a house and living in a caravan its not as easy as just popping it into the dishwasher. the night before!!
OMG I woke up to Lord Huntingdon washing up!!!
Sorry it`s not the best photo as it was taken in the caravan when I had just woken up but I wanted you to see it with your own eyes!!
He complained that he kept knocking his finger which recently had stitches in it. And as I said to him that he obviously needs to do it more often as he must not be doing it right and therefore needs more practise!!!
Then he continued to cook eggs benedict minus the hollandaise sauce as we didn't have any lemon juice to make it which I had forgotten about!!! So really we had bacon and eggs on turkish bread with a nice chutney.
After a great breakfast and being waited on hand and foot - No it`s not my birthday - I had a shower got dressed , make up and hair done and off we went to look at a job we are doing in a couple of weeks.
I am sorry to say that the seal which I told you about yesterday was not there. The owner of the fish shop is away on holidays for a few weeks and the locals are saying that the seal knows he`s not there as he normally feeds him daily.
Any how we got a few photos for you all.
I warned him today that I was going to hide the jacket and give it to him when he goes to work in the morning to remind him of how cold it really is!! LOL
He is a wonderful Husband and Father I am so lucky !!!
I am sure I will return to my petal stool tomorrow!!

We came home and did a tip run, Lord Huntingdon packed the truck and machine for work tomorrow after he light the fire to keep me nice and warm.
Lord Huntingdon has a nice new jacket which has batteries to warm the jacket, so you see some times he is sitting near the fire with the jacket turned up high being nice and warm and forgets to stoke the fire as he is hot and I am sitting there asking him to pop more wood on the fire as its cold!!
He is a wonderful Husband and Father I am so lucky !!!

1950`s Challenge - Our day out and about where am I?
Today we set off early and headed to ...........
No I didn`t forget to fill in the blanks it`s for you all to work out and as I said this is an easy one, next week will be more difficult!!
Then we headed home where we were having Jaimi-Lee, Ben and Charlotte pop up for lunch and Lord Huntingdon was going to change the front and rear brake pads in their car.
Our gorgeous 15 month old granddaughter is who I refer to as my Little Princess is growing so fast we are so lucky to live within a 35 minute drive to see her as often as we like.
She has just started walking and is very proud of herself. She likes to see all the animals at Nanna and Granddads and this is also a joy to me as I believe all children should grow up with animals.
I have no doubt that it won`t be long and she will be like her Mum and Auntie Moo and Nanna will have brought her her first pony!! Granddad says no but I believe she will have him twisted around her little finger as our daughters had him there before.
So here you see our day. It was wonderful to have time with Jaimi-lee, Ben and Charlotte.
Miss Maddison was out Ice Skating with her boyfriend his best friend and her Best friend trying to play match maker, apparently it all went well so time will tell if love is in the air!!
I look forward to your guesses as to where we were.
